Fly Away 05:47
Since the beginning of time We have dreamed of moving Fish sliding through primordial seas Brachiating through tree overhead On the savannah scanning for food And once again I find myself in strange cities Navigating a bizarre system of tunnels and roads And bridges and rivers To meet the faces of friends Who I've never seen We used to dream of flying Now we don't even walk We only move In shiny metal boxes stretched to the horizon To sit within room within room within room with room within room Before we hurried home for Boxed wine and curried meals And then I remember I remember... I remember... I could always fly away Floating on the atmosphere I could always fly away Floating on the atmosphere A cannonball! Before I fall ... Awake Fly away Fly away Fly away I could always fly away

We are all children Immigrants, sons, and daughters We are the bastards of slaughter Waves cresting to the shore On floating cotillion Swirling systems Micro conditions Resistance engines roar And we march back to the sea We march back to the sea Before we turn into machines All going home All going home All going home We're not just civilians Cogs, sprockets, or pistons On suicide missions Fighting atomic wars For countless generations Immigrants, sons, and daughters We are the bastards of slaughter Our alma mater And we march back to the sea And we march back to the sea We march back to the sea Turn an inner beast All going home All going home All going home All going home All going home All going home All going home We're all going home All going home

Cayenne 04:56
We ran through the clouds Oh, such a perfect day! Never coming down From the palisade Rain falls in French On the holiday The heat of Cayenne Melt our sins away The river rushes past Out to the open sea Where nothing ever lasts And we are truly free We ran through the crowd Oh! Such a perfect day! Danced in motley gowns For the big parade The crumbled ruins of Cépérou From the colony Catch the sky's deep blue And you give it back to me The river rushing past Out to the open sea Where nothing ever lasts And we are truly free Nothing ever lasts We are truly free Ran through the clouds On a winter's day Buildings on the ground form a colonnade Snow falls in New Amsterdam On the holiday But the heat of Cayenne Melt our sins away The river rushing past Out to the open sea Where nothing ever lasts We are truly free

The Ocean 05:16
海に落ちて、深海に沈んだ 波が僕を包んでいた 海底には自由があった 望むなら僕と来て 一緒に さああ行こ! And under the water there is a river Cool, clear, life-giving water At the bottom you can be If you got the notion you should come with me You should come with me! Here we go! The world breathes And the ocean heaves And you and I are just floating leaves Fell into the ocean, I sank into the sea Undulating motion washing over At the bottom you can be And if you got the notion You should come with me

The ocean is chaotic and ever-changing. Such is life. Such is 3-piece rock band Dolphins Don't Love. No two shows are alike, but they're always fun, in your face, and a good time in a dark sort of way.

Like the ocean itself.

We are recording a studio album live, the old fashioned way, this summer. We believe in a certain simplicity, and try to embody the essence of the song, the essence of the sea, and of life.

Drummer Phil Harris is the heart, Don Paris Schlotman on guitar and vocal is the mouth, and Danny Cambo on synth is the brain. Together they make Dolphins Don't Love.
